Shooters Choice Gun Rod Cleaning Kit Features The Shooters Choice Gun Rod Cleaning Kit is built around five brass rod sections with male and female 8/32 threaded ends and a swivel t-handle giving the shooter smooth controlled rod travel through the bore without binding. Quality brass components keep the rod from damaging the shotgun s bore or crown during repeated cleaning sessions. A 3 inch 12 gauge bronze phosphor bore brush and a 3 inch cotton bore mop handle fouling removal and lubricant application in the same pass. A 12 gauge brass pierce point jag with three felt pads rounds out the patch-pushing hardware for a thorough bore cleaning routine. A shotgun 8/32 to 5/16-27 threaded end adaptor lets the kit s components work with other common cleaning accessories beyond what is included. Twenty 2.5 inch cotton cleaning patches and a nylon all-purpose brush cover fine cleaning on the action and exterior surfaces. A 0.5 fluid ounce bottle of FP-10 Lubricant Elite CLP is included to clean lubricate and protect the shotgun after cleaning.
