Hornady ELD-Match Features The Hornady ELD-Match bullet is built around the Heat Shield tip with the Perfect Meplat a design that protects the tip point from the heat generated during flight and keeps its shape consistent shot after shot. This consistency directly translates into superior accuracy since a uniform meplat shape helps maintain a predictable ballistic coefficient across every round loaded. At 147 grains and .264 inches in diameter this 6.5mm bullet is sized for popular long range cartridges favored by precision shooters and competitors. Its swaged lead core is manufactured to tight tolerances for uniformity across the entire batch. An optimum secant ogive paired with a boattail base gives the ELD-Match bullet one of the highest ballistic coefficients available in its weight class helping it retain velocity and resist wind drift at extended distances. These design features work together to deliver extreme consistency from bullet to bullet and lot to lot a critical factor for reloaders chasing tight groups at long range. Packaged 500 to the box this quantity suits high volume reloaders and competitive shooters who load large batches of precision ammunition. For handloaders seeking a proven highly accurate 6.5mm match bullet Hornady ELD-Match is a trusted choice.
