Hornady Harvester Sabot XTP Features The Hornady Harvester Sabot pairs a .50 caliber sabot with a .430 inch diameter Hornady XTP bullet a combination built to seal the bore of a muzzleloader barrel while stabilizing the projectile in flight. Weighing 240 grains the bullet carries enough mass to deliver reliable expansion and penetration on deer-sized game across a range of muzzleloader charge weights. The XTP jacket and core design is engineered to expand consistently whether fired at close range or extended muzzleloader distances giving hunters predictable terminal performance shot after shot. This expansion characteristic is a large part of why the XTP has remained a trusted choice among muzzleloader hunters for decades. Each box contains 20 sabots giving hunters and reloaders enough projectiles for practice sessions and hunting season without frequent restocking. The sabot design allows the bullet to be safely loaded and fired from standard .50 caliber muzzleloader barrels while maintaining accuracy downrange. Consistent deep terminal penetration is the design goal behind the XTP profile delivering the kind of performance hunters rely on for quick ethical harvests. For muzzleloader hunters who want a proven sabot and bullet combination the Hornady Harvester XTP is available for sale at GrabAGun.
