Hornady ELD-X Features The Hornady ELD-X bullet is engineered to deliver match accurate ballistic coefficients while still providing the controlled expansion hunters need on game at both close and extended ranges. At .257 inch diameter and 128 grains this bullet suits a range of .25 caliber cartridges favored by hunters seeking flat trajectories with manageable recoil. The Extremely Low Drag design reduces velocity loss downrange compared to conventional hunting bullets helping shooters hold a flatter trajectory across varying distances. This all range design means the ELD-X performs consistently whether the shot is close or stretched well past typical hunting ranges. Because expansion remains controlled across that entire velocity range hunters do not need to worry about bullet failure at extended distances the way they might with a bullet designed only for close range impact velocities. Reloaders building precision hunting ammunition benefit from the bullet s consistent quality and dimensional uniformity both of which are essential to loading accurate cartridges. Packed 100 bullets to a box this quantity supports a serious reloading session without frequent restocking.
