Hornady ELD-VT Features The Hornady ELD-VT bullet in .25 Cal uses a polymer tip that drives rearward through an internal air gap and into the jacketed lead core upon impact which means rapid and dramatic fragmentation even at reduced velocities where standard varmint bullets fail to expand reliably. The reduced core-to-bullet-length ratio moves the center of gravity toward the rear of the projectile improving aerodynamic stability and helping the bullet resist wind drift at extended ranges. This 95 grain bullet s long sleek match profile is shared with Hornady s ELD-M line giving handloaders match-grade accuracy in a purpose-built varmint design. The .257 inch diameter is precisely held to tolerance for consistent seating and concentricity in every load. Each box contains 100 bullets giving serious varmint hunters and long-range shooters enough projectiles to work up loads and still have plenty left for a full season in the field. This jacketed lead bullet is built for reloaders who want to fine-tune velocity and seating depth for their specific rifle rather than accept a fixed factory loading. The fragmentation performance makes it especially effective on prairie dogs coyotes and other varmints where explosive terminal effect matters more than deep penetration. The Hornady ELD-VT .25 caliber bullet is available for sale at GrabAGun for handloaders who demand accuracy and devastating terminal performance.
