Griffin Armament Optimus 7 Features The Griffin Armament Optimus 7 uses a high flow baffle design optimized to reduce back pressure compared to traditional suppressor geometries while still delivering strong flash and sound reduction for .30 caliber platforms like .308 Win and .300 WM. The quad tine flash hider endcap was tuned alongside the low back pressure baffle stack to suppress flash at a level uncommon among other low back pressure designs which keeps the shooter s sight picture cleaner during rapid strings of fire. Rated for full auto use and measuring 7.56 inches long with a 1.73 inch diameter the can balances suppression performance with a manageable size for field and range use. At a sound level of 135.9 decibels it delivers meaningful reduction without adding excessive bulk to the host rifle. Construction starts with ultra strong 17-4 H900 heat treated stainless steel throughout with the printed tube body machined during post production for a smooth exterior finish free of visible printing layers. The blast shield and taper mount system are machined in-house from 17-4 stainless steel and laser welded to the baffle core which simplifies warranty service in the event of a baffle strike or other damage. Finished in a durable black Cerakote and weighing 19.5 ounces the Optimus 7 Taper Mount threads onto a 5/8x24 pattern for dependable repeatable attachment across compatible hosts. Backed by Griffin Armament s Perpetual Lifetime Warranty it is a dealer-ready suppressor combining proven materials with modern manufacturing for serious rifle shooters.
