Griffin Armament Sportsman Ultra Light 36 HD Features The Griffin Armament Sportsman Ultra Light 36 HD is machined from full 17-4 stainless steel with an H900 heat treatment a construction upgrade from the original aluminum Sportsman Ultra Light suppressors that carried firing restrictions. Griffin s tubeless laser welded design a technology the company pioneered keeps the weight close to titanium while adding significant strength over those earlier aluminum cans. Because the HD series removes the previous cooldown requirements hunters can dial in a rifle or run extended strings at the range without pausing to let the suppressor cool. The result is a rugged field ready can rated for rifle calibers up to .338 Lapua Magnum and pistol calibers up to 9mm with a full auto rating for sustained fire. Griffin s patented ECO-FLOW baffle technology cuts user exposure to toxic blowback gas and reduces system gas pressure which improves function on gas operated hosts that are sensitive to added backpressure. The suppressor mounts using industry standard 1.375x24 HUB threading so it accepts Griffin s own HUB mount adapters as well as compatible mounts from other manufacturers for fast repeatable attachment. As a .36 caliber unit it also accepts Nielsen booster devices extending its use to 9mm Browning style tilt barrel pistols for a genuinely multi platform suppressor. Machined at Griffin s Watertown Wisconsin facility and finished in Black Cerakote the Sportsman Ultra Light 36 HD is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters wanting a durable American made suppressor for both rifle and handgun use.
