Griffin Armament Sportsman Ultra Light HD Features The Griffin Armament Sportsman Ultra Light HD is built entirely from 17-4 stainless steel with an H900 heat treatment bringing a new level of durability to the Sportsman Ultra Light family hence the HD designation for High Durability. Griffin s tubeless laser welding process a silencer technology the company pioneered allows this suppressor to achieve weights close to titanium designs while using much tougher stainless steel internals. Earlier aluminum Sportsman suppressors were limited to sporting use requiring cool down periods after a handful of rounds but the HD series removes those restrictions entirely. Hunters can now dial in their rifles and fire extended strings without needing to stop and let the suppressor cool a meaningful advantage during load development or extended range sessions. Rated for full auto use and rifle calibers up to .300 RUM the Sportsman Ultra Light HD is built to handle serious power without compromising longevity. The patented ECO FLOW baffle system reduces toxic gas blow back toward the shooter improving comfort and function especially on gas operated rifles. Standard 1.375x24 HUB threading gives the suppressor broad compatibility across a wide range of mounting systems already in use. Finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote and proudly manufactured in Wisconsin this 6.09 inch 1.5 inch diameter suppressor weighs just 11.8 ounces combining rugged construction with genuinely lightweight field performance.
