Griffin Armament Explorr Utility Mount Features The Griffin Armament Explorr Utility Mount is built on years of research into tubeless suppressor construction a design approach Griffin pioneered in 2010 with the first tubeless silencers made in the US. Tubeless designs trade a more traditional featureless outer appearance for the most optimal strength to weight ratio achievable in a suppressor build. With that background Griffin pushed the Explorr series further aiming to hit titanium class weights while using a more durable Stainless Steel construction. The result is a suppressor that delivers the low weight benefits of exotic materials without giving up the durability that Stainless Steel provides. At just 10.8 ounces the Explorr Utility Mount keeps added muzzle weight to a minimum which directly reduces point of impact shift and improves accuracy potential when firing from unsupported positions. Measuring 5.8 inches long with a 1.5 inch diameter it adds relatively little length to the host .223 Rem rifle while still delivering effective sound suppression. Its taper mount attachment allows for quick repeatable installation on supported hosts and the Cerakote finish in Flat Dark Earth adds corrosion resistance on top of the Stainless Steel body underneath. Rated for full auto fire the Explorr Utility Mount is built to stand up to sustained high volume shooting without sacrificing the weight savings that make it comfortable to carry. Griffin Armament designed the Explorr Utility Mount for shooters who demand both durability and a lighter carry profile from their suppressor rather than forcing a choice between the two. The taper mount system keeps attachment simple and secure across range sessions field use and duty applications alike. Because the tubeless body sheds unnecessary bulk while retaining Stainless Steel strength the suppressor resists the dents and wear that can compromise lighter exotic-material designs over time. The Griffin Armament Explorr Utility Mount is available for sale at GrabAGun as a dependable lightweight addition to a .223 Rem rifle build for shooters who put real rounds through their suppressors.
