Griffin Armament Recce 5K Features The Griffin Armament Recce 5K is constructed from Griffin s proprietary Nickel 625X powder alloy using state-of-the-art SLM additive manufacturing technology producing a solid core that delivers unparalleled strength while remaining warranty serviceable. This process improved both sound performance and flash reduction over prior generations making it the highest performing Recce 5K suppressor Griffin has produced. The suppressor uses the backwards-compatible Taper Mount-RI mounting system a highly accurate and simple platform that vastly improves retention over direct thread options while eliminating device timing concerns. An integrated flash hider end cap works in conjunction with the printed core to reduce flash to an absolute first-round minimum and virtually eliminate it on subsequent shots. Testing showed the proprietary Nickel 625X alloy achieves roughly a 68 percent increase in yield and tensile strength over additively manufactured Inconel 625 at 1200 degrees Fahrenheit a material long used in military-grade suppressors. The printed core is laser-welded to a machined rear section for long-term warranty serviceability combining advanced manufacturing with practical durability. Rated for full-auto use and hearing safe on barrels over 10 inches the Recce 5K carries a 32 dB NRR and threads 1/2x28 for 5.56mm and .22 caliber hosts. At 13.7 ounces with a 1.5 inch diameter it ships complete with a Taper Mount EZ-Brake muzzle device a branded Griffin silencer pouch and a digital manual.
