Griffin Armament Optimus 7 Features The Griffin Armament Optimus 7 uses additive manufacturing to produce a high gas flow baffle design that reduces system back pressure compared to traditional suppressor construction while still delivering impressive flash and sound reduction. The quad-tine flash hider endcap was tuned specifically alongside the low back pressure baffle stack to kill muzzle flash at a level rarely seen in other low back-pressure cans on the market. Optimized for .30 caliber projectiles such as .308 Win and .300 Win Mag the suppressor measures 6.87 inches overall with a 1.73 inch diameter and carries a full-auto rating for demanding use. This combination gives shooters a can that stays comfortable to run on both bolt guns and semi-autos without excessive recoil impulse or report. Constructed entirely from ultra-strong 17-4 H900 heat treated stainless steel the printed core is machined in post-production to create a smooth exterior free of the visible layer lines common on other printed suppressors. The blast shield and 1.375x24 utility mount system are machined in-house from 17-4 stainless steel then laser-welded to the baffle core which simplifies warranty service in the rare case of a baffle strike. At 17.80 ounces the Optimus 7 keeps added weight manageable on the end of a barrel. Backed by Griffin Armament s Perpetual Lifetime Warranty this Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finished suppressor gives precision rifle shooters and hunters a durable dealer-ready can built for long-term service.
