Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL15 Pursuit Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL15 Pursuit is built on a billet 7075 aluminum upper and lower receiver finished in a bold Pursuit Green Camo Cerakote that stands out from typical black AR-15 builds. The 16 inch 416R stainless steel barrel carries a 1:8 twist rate stabilizing a wide range of bullet weights whether shooting 5.56 NATO or .223 Rem ammunition through its .223 Wylde chamber. A heavy barrel profile with a 0.750 gas block and carbine length gas tube keeps the action running reliably while a forward angled wrench tightened muzzle brake is included to help control recoil and muzzle rise. The M4 feed ramps and semi automatic action are built for smooth dependable cycling shot after shot. A 15.25 inch M-LOK aluminum handguard with a full picatinny rail on top gives shooters ample space to mount lights optics and other accessories. Mil-Spec controls a polymer pistol grip and a 6 position collapsible stock provide familiar ergonomics for any AR-15 shooter while the Mil-Spec trigger breaks at a consistent 5.5 to 6 pounds. This rifle is made in the USA and ships with one 30 round magazine ready to go. Weighing 8.05 pounds and measuring 36.5 inches overall the GL15 Pursuit Green Camo combines eye catching styling with dependable AR-15 performance for hunting range use or home defense.
