Charter Arms Off Duty Features The Charter Arms Off Duty is built on a small aluminum frame that keeps overall weight down to just 14 ounces making it an easy carry option for long shifts or all-day concealed carry. The blue anodized finish covers the frame while hi-polish components add contrast and help resist corrosion from daily handling. A fiber optic front sight gathers available light to give shooters a bright fast sight picture in the moments that matter most while the fixed rear sight keeps the sight picture simple and snag free for a defensive handgun. The 2 barrel keeps the revolver compact without sacrificing the ballistic performance of the .38 Spl cartridge and the aluminum frame construction trims weight from the package without giving up the durability a daily carry gun demands. The 5-round cylinder offers a proven capacity for a defensive revolver of this size and the double action trigger allows for a smooth consistent pull shot after shot without the need to manually cock the hammer between shots. At just 6.25 long and 4.25 tall the Off Duty tucks easily into a pocket holster ankle rig or waistband carry and its small frame footprint makes it easy to conceal under light clothing. Ambidextrous controls mean the revolver runs the same regardless of which hand operates it a real advantage for officers who may need to draw or reload one handed. Simple rugged and sized for concealment the Charter Arms Off Duty is ready for backup or everyday carry duty for shooters who want a lightweight no-fuss revolver they can trust when it counts.
