Charter Arms Undercover Lite The Cougar Features The Charter Arms Undercover Lite The Cougar is built around a 7075 aluminum frame that keeps overall weight down to just 12 oz making this .38 SPL revolver one of the lighter options available for all-day concealed carry. A spurred hammer allows for both single and double action operation giving shooters flexibility between a lighter single-action trigger pull and the simplicity of double-action fire. The 3-point cylinder lock-up improves timing and lockup consistency compared to standard single-point designs contributing to reliable accuracy shot after shot. For concealed carriers who want a lightweight revolver without sacrificing mechanical reliability The Cougar delivers dependable performance in a compact frame. Black rubber grips with finger grooves provide a secure comfortable hold that helps manage recoil from .38 SPL loads despite the revolver s light weight. Fixed front and rear sights keep the sight picture simple and snag-free when drawing from concealment and a hammer block safety adds a layer of passive protection against accidental discharge. The revolver ships with a cable trigger lock for secure storage when not in use.
