What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"The Ankle Support Cuff on the XC Control Boot made a real difference the first time I hit a rutted, icy stretch of trail, keeping my foot locked in instead of rolling around. Comfort Guard insulation held up even when temperatures dropped into single digits, and I appreciated being able to walk around normally at the lodge afterward instead of waddling in stiff race boots."Uneven snow has a way of finding the weak point in a boot, and the XC Control Boot is built to close that gap. A supportive Ankle Support Cuff steadies the foot through choppy terrain, while water-repellent Comfort Guard insulation shields toes from the kind of cold that usually ends a ski day early. The TURNAMIC(R) Performance sole holds balance flat and predictable through the kick, letting soft flex grooves support a natural stride before easing into safe, sure footed walking once the skis come off. Inside, a Nylex lining adds warmth without bulk, and easy entry loops mean getting laced up and out the door takes no time at all.
