Pedersoli Mississippi Rolling Block Features The Pedersoli Mississippi Rolling Block is built around a rolling block action a rugged single shot design prized historically for its strength and simplicity and chambered here in .45 Colt for approachable recoil and easy sourcing of ammunition. The 26 blued barrel carries a 1:16 twist rate matched to the cartridge for consistent accuracy shot to shot. The blued metal finish on the barrel and receiver protects against corrosion while keeping the rifle s traditional aesthetic intact. This action type appeals to shooters who want a genuine taste of 19th century single shot rifle operation in a currently produced firearm. The American walnut stock is fitted to the rolling block action for a classic silhouette with a stock weight and balance suited to deliberate precision-focused shooting rather than rapid fire. The satin nickel receiver is engraved adding a decorative element that sets this rolling block apart from plainer reproductions. An adjustable leaf rear sight lets the shooter dial in elevation for different ranges useful for both target work and hunting applications. Together the walnut furniture engraved receiver and adjustable sighting make this Pedersoli a rifle built as much for display and heritage shooting as for the range.
