Pedersoli Sharps 1874 Cavalry Carbine Features The Pedersoli Sharps 1874 Cavalry Carbine uses a falling block action chambered in .45-70 Government a design renowned for its strength and simplicity that made the original Sharps rifles legendary on the American frontier. The 22 barrel carries a 1:18 twist rate matched to traditional .45-70 loadings and its blued steel finish resists corrosion while echoing the deep luster of period-correct firearms. At an overall length of 38.8 inches and a weight of 10.6 pounds the carbine carries enough heft to help manage recoil from its powerful chambering while remaining a manageable size for mounted or dismounted shooting drills. This faithful reproduction of the falling block design gives cowboy action shooters and history enthusiasts an authentic shooting experience true to the original. A genuine walnut stock gives the carbine a warm traditional appearance and comfortable cheek weld and its checkered panels improve grip during firing. Pedersoli s craftsmanship reflects decades of experience building historically accurate black powder and cartridge reproductions prized by collectors and competitors alike. Traditional sights complete the period-correct look while remaining functional for target work at typical cowboy action distances. For shooters and collectors seeking an authentic well-built .45-70 Sharps carbine reproduction the Pedersoli Sharps 1874 Cavalry Carbine is available for sale at GrabAGun.
