Pedersoli John Bodine Rolling Block Features The Pedersoli John Bodine Rolling Block uses a rolling block action one of the strongest and most reliable single shot designs ever produced known for its simplicity and durability under repeated firing. The 1:12 twist rate is matched to heavier .45-70 projectiles helping stabilize them for consistent accuracy at extended ranges. At an overall length of 46.75 inches and a weight of 8.8 pounds the rifle carries the heft expected of a traditional long-range single shot design. This combination of a proven action and a long barrel makes the rifle well suited to silhouette shooting and historical competition. The walnut stock delivers the classic look and feel that collectors and heritage shooters expect from a rolling block rifle offering a comfortable traditional grip and cheek weld. A blued metal finish protects the action and barrel from corrosion while maintaining the period-correct aesthetic the platform is known for. Pedersoli s reputation for faithful historical reproduction carries through in every detail of this rifle s construction. For shooters seeking an authentic single shot rifle built to modern standards of quality the John Bodine Rolling Block delivers a genuine link to rifle history.
