Pedersoli Creedmoor LR Features The Pedersoli Creedmoor LR is built on a rolling block action chambered in .45-70 Government a design proven for over a century for its simplicity and strength in single shot target rifles. The 30 inch octagonal barrel carries a 1:18 twist rate suited to the heavier bullets typically used in long-range .45-70 competition and the octagonal profile adds both period-correct styling and additional barrel mass for steady holds. The adjustable Creedmoor rear sight allows precise elevation and windage corrections shot to shot while the tunnel front sight accepts interchangeable inserts so shooters can tailor their sight picture to lighting and target conditions. Together these features make the rifle a serious tool for long-range black powder cartridge competition. The oiled satin walnut stock is fitted with a checkered pistol grip for a secure confident hold during the deliberate firing sequence a rolling block action demands. Color case hardened metal parts on the frame provide a striking contrast against the blued barrel a hallmark of classic single shot rifle craftsmanship. At an overall length of 46.75 inches and roughly 10.5 pounds the rifle carries the heft needed to tame recoil during extended range sessions. Pedersoli s reputation for faithful historical reproduction runs throughout this rifle making it a fitting choice for shooters devoted to traditional long-range target shooting.
