Winchester Xpert Strata Features The Winchester Xpert Strata is built around a precision button-rifled barrel with a 1:9 inch twist and target-style crown delivering the accuracy rimfire hunters need for precise shots on small fast-moving game. The semi-match Bentz-style chamber improves feeding and ignition consistency across a range of 17 HMR loads while a hemispherical firing pin adds reliability against rimfire misfires. The durable steel receiver is drilled and tapped to accept scope mounts and a two-piece scope base ships with the rifle so hunters can mount glass without sourcing separate hardware. An extended bolt handle adds leverage for faster smoother cycling between shots in the field. Wrapped in a molded polymer stock finished in TrueTimber Strata camo the Xpert Strata blends into natural surroundings for predator calling and varmint hunting where concealment matters. The 1/2x28 threaded muzzle makes the rifle ready to accept a sound suppressor a popular addition for rimfire hunters who want reduced report without heavy gunsmithing costs. Dual ambidextrous magazine releases on the sides and bottom of the receiver let shooters of either hand drop the included 8-round rotary magazine quickly. Front and rear sling eyelets plus a Picatinny rail at the forend tip add mounting options for slings and accessories making the Winchester Xpert Strata a versatile camo-finished rimfire rifle for hunters who spend long days afield.
