Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Features The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight is built around the proven Pre-64 style action with controlled round feed and a claw extractor a design hunters have trusted for generations to reliably chamber and extract rounds in the field. Chambered in .30-06 Springfield the rifle s 22 barrel wears a target crown and a gloss blued finish drilled and tapped to accept scope bases for a hunter s optic of choice. The adjustable M.O.A. Trigger System delivers zero take-up zero creep and zero overtravel for a light clean break while the three-position safety and jeweled bolt body with knurled handle add both function and classic styling to the rifle s controls. The Satin AA French Maple stock is the visual highlight of this example light in color with dark contrasting grain that sets it apart from standard walnut stocks. Styled after the original Featherweight with a Schnabel fore-end and intricate checkering the stock carries a durable satin finish that holds up to years of field use. A premium Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad absorbs felt recoil keeping the shooting experience comfortable across a long day afield. Feeding from an internal magazine for a 5+1 capacity and weighing 7 lbs the Winchester Model 70 Featherweight remains the iconic all-around rifle for deer varmints hogs and antelope available for sale at GrabAGun.
