Winchester XPR Extreme Features The Winchester XPR Extreme Tungsten QPQ is centered on a spiral fluted barrel chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor that removes unnecessary metal to cut weight for easier carry across long hunts. Both the barrel and the steel receiver wear a Black QPQ finish a tough corrosion resistant coating that stands up to the scrapes and moisture of field use. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts giving hunters a solid repeatable foundation for mounting glass. A 1:8 twist rate stabilizes heavier bullet weights common in 6.5 Creedmoor loads supporting consistent accuracy at extended range. The M.O.A. Trigger System delivers a light crisp break that helps shooters execute precise shots under field conditions and a two-position thumb safety keeps operation simple and fast. The textured Tungsten Cerakote synthetic stock provides a superior non-slip grip in wet weather or gloved hands while an Inflex Technology recoil pad reduces felt recoil on the shoulder. A recessed target crown and button rifled barrel protect accuracy from muzzle damage and the threaded 9/16x24 muzzle ships with a brake installed to tame recoil further. At 6.12 lbs with a 3+1 capacity the XPR Extreme is a rugged field-ready rifle available for sale at GrabAGun for serious backcountry hunters.
