Taurus GX4 Features The Taurus GX4 is engineered around a Satin Black DLC coated stainless steel barrel that reduces friction and resists wear and corrosion which translates directly into enhanced accuracy and consistent performance over the life of the pistol. The slide is a gas nitride coated carbon steel design finished in Blue PVD giving it a carry friendly surface hardness that holds up to daily concealed carry wear. A blackout steel serrated rear sight is drift adjustable for windage and it pairs with a fixed white dot front sight to promote fast accurate target acquisition when running without a red dot. The flat face target trigger delivers a crisp precise sear break along with a short tactile reset that speeds up follow up shots. Two backstrap options let shooters tune the GX4 to their hand with the standard profile offering a slight palm swell and the included high-swell backstrap raising the wrist position for a more natural point of aim. A striker block and trigger safety provide passive protection against unintended discharge while an easy takedown pin simplifies disassembly and reassembly for routine cleaning. At 18.5 ounces unloaded and just 1.08 inches wide the pistol balances a genuinely full-sized 13+1 capacity against a frame built for all day concealed carry. The Taurus GX4 ships complete with its 11-round and 13-round magazines giving carry minded shooters flexibility between a flush fit and an extended grip.
