Taurus TX22 Features The TX22 keeps everything that made the original TX22 a favorite and adds a new level of stability and control with the Strike Industries FSA Lite folding brace installed at the factory. The lightweight compact folding design complements the TX22 platform without adding unnecessary bulk giving shooters an additional point of support for steadier more controlled shooting while staying comfortable and easy to handle. The ambidextrous charging handle and industry standard sight dovetails round out a control layout built for fast confident operation. For shooters who want added stability without extra bulk the factory-installed FSA Lite brace delivers that support in a compact package. The TORO slide is optics-ready and cut for RMSc pattern optics so shooters can mount a red dot and go without aftermarket milling. The threaded barrel is ready for a suppressor and the pistol ships with one 22-round magazine and one 16-round magazine so shooters can spend more time shooting and less time reloading. A fixed white dot front sight pairs with an adjustable white dot rear sight for a reliable sight picture with or without an optic mounted. For shooters who want to add a red dot straight out of the box the TORO slide's RMSc cut skips the extra step of aftermarket milling. Built with a polymer frame and an aluminum slide finished in hard anodized black the TX22 measures 19.5 inches overall and weighs 24.9 oz unloaded giving it a stable substantial feel for a rimfire pistol. Striker block manual and trigger safeties combine for layered safe handling and a Picatinny rail accepts a light or laser for low-light use. For shooters who want to pair their TX22 with a dedicated suppressor Taurus offers the TTX22 titanium suppressor as a matched companion for sale at GrabAGun.
