Taurus GX2 TORO Features The Taurus GX2 TORO combines the reliability shootability and everyday carry practicality of the original GX2 with a new TORO optic-ready slide responding directly to shooter demand for red dot compatibility in 9mm. Its 3.38 inch barrel is built using Taurus s sharpshooter barrel technology for improved accuracy over a standard production barrel tightening groups without adding bulk to the slide. A stainless steel chassis underlies the polymer frame reinforcing the pistol s structure and extending its service life under repeated firing. The hinged trigger safety provides an added layer of drop safety without compromising trigger feel keeping the trigger press smooth and predictable shot after shot. Ten rounds of 9mm on tap delivered through a slide built around the TORO cut give the GX2 TORO a genuine red dot option that the original GX2 could not offer. Finished in OD Green Cerakote over the frame with a contrasting black slide the GX2 TORO stands out while still carrying the ergonomic intuitive design that makes it comfortable for a wide range of hand sizes. Fixed white dot front and drift adjustable rear sights provide a reliable iron sight option even when running the pistol without an optic mounted so the pistol never leaves a shooter without a usable sighting system. The textured polymer grips improve purchase in both dry and wet conditions a detail that matters for a pistol intended for daily carry. That grip texture pairs with the pistol s compact dimensions to keep the GX2 TORO controllable under rapid fire while still riding comfortably concealed. With two magazines included and a 10+1 capacity the Taurus GX2 TORO gives shooters a versatile optics-ready option for both everyday carry and personal defense.
