Remington Core-Lokt Features The Remington Core-Lokt 7mm Rem Ultra Mag load is built around a 150 grain pointed soft point bullet with a ballistic coefficient of .346 giving it a relatively flat trajectory for long range shots at big game. Core-Lokt s defining feature is its tapered copper jacket locked directly to a solid lead core which controls bullet expansion rather than letting it fragment so the round retains weight and penetrates deep even after impact. At 3230 feet per second and roughly 3475 foot pounds of muzzle energy this load carries the speed and power the 7mm Rem Ultra Mag cartridge is known for. Remington has produced Core-Lokt since 1939 making it one of the longest running and most proven big game bullets on the market. Each box contains 20 rounds of brass cased boxer primed ammunition that is fully reloadable giving handloaders the option to recover and reuse the brass after firing. The cartridge is built for big game applications where controlled expansion and deep penetration are critical to a clean ethical harvest. Remington s reputation for consistency across decades of production gives hunters confidence heading into the field with this load chambered. Hunters seeking a dependable long range big game round for their 7mm Rem Ultra Mag rifle will find this Core-Lokt ammunition available for sale at GrabAGun.
