Power Calls Heritage Series Slate Features The Power Calls Heritage Series Slate Pot Call pairs a hand crafted walnut pot with a slate striking surface a combination chosen to produce smooth soft yelps and subtle purrs rather than the louder more aggressive tones of the companion Crystal version. That softer sound profile makes the Slate version well suited to calling situations where turkeys are already close or responding when a quieter more natural sound can seal the deal rather than spook a wary bird. The walnut pot itself is hand crafted in Pennsylvania giving the call a traditional look and feel that many turkey hunters prefer over synthetic alternatives. This attention to material and construction carries through the entire Heritage Series lineup. As part of the Heritage Series the Slate Pot Call maintains the same quality craftsmanship and tone balance that define the line built for callers who want to reach out and grab a gobbler s attention without overdoing it. Being American-made the call reflects a commitment to domestic production and consistent quality control across each unit built. Turkey hunters who already appreciate the louder Crystal option may find the Slate version a useful complement for finishing calls once a bird is working in close. For hunters seeking a traditional hand crafted pot call with proven Heritage Series performance this Slate model from Power Calls is ready for the spring woods for sale at GrabAGun.
