Iver Johnson 500 Features The Iver Johnson 500 operates as a semi automatic shotgun cycling 20 gauge shells up to 3 inches in length and reducing felt recoil compared to a fixed breech design an advantage during long days of wingshooting or clays. Its 26 inch vent rib barrel helps dissipate heat mirage for a clearer sight picture while providing a smooth balanced swing on moving targets. MobilChoke style interchangeable chokes let the shooter adjust pattern density for everything from close flushing birds to longer crossing shots. A 6 round capacity gives the shooter follow up shots without needing to reload mid-flush. The walnut stock offers a traditional field look and feel with the wood s natural density helping to dampen recoil compared to lighter synthetic options. Finished in black the metal components provide a clean classic contrast against the wood furniture. At an overall length of 47 inches and a weight of about 6.85 pounds the 500 is light enough to carry comfortably over long walks in the field without becoming tiring. The Iver Johnson 500 is available for sale at GrabAGun for upland hunters and clay shooters who want a dependable traditionally styled 20 gauge semi auto.
