HSM/Hunting Shack Rifle Ammunition Features The HSM/Hunting Shack Rifle Ammunition in .223 Remington is built around a 55 grain soft point bullet a classic hunting and varmint projectile that expands reliably on impact while retaining enough weight for adequate penetration. The cannelure machined into the bullet gives the case mouth a crimping groove helping keep the bullet seated firmly under the pressure of semi-automatic cycling. Launched at roughly 3050 feet per second this load delivers a flat trajectory that is forgiving of minor range estimation errors at typical varmint and target distances. The resulting 1136 foot pounds of energy is ample for small to medium varmints and general purpose shooting. Packaged 50 rounds to a box HSM Rifle Ammunition offers hunters and range shooters a straightforward soft point option for .223 Remington rifles without unnecessary complexity. This load is well suited to varmint hunting where rapid expansion is desired as well as general target practice and familiarization shooting. The soft point design is a dependable time tested bullet style that performs consistently across a range of AR-15 and bolt action rifles chambered in .223 Remington. For hunters and shooters who want a dependable .223 Rem soft point load HSM Rifle Ammunition is available for sale at GrabAGun.
