HSM/Hunting Shack Rifle Ammunition Features The HSM/Hunting Shack Rifle Ammunition in 7mm STW pairs a 175 grain jacketed soft point bullet with the cartridge s high velocity capability giving hunters a flat shooting round with enough bullet weight to handle larger game at extended ranges. The soft point design is built to expand reliably on impact while the jacket controls that expansion balancing stopping power with sufficient penetration. This weight class is a popular choice among 7mm STW shooters because it offers a practical compromise between velocity and down range energy retention. HSM builds its ammunition with attention to consistent loading which matters for a cartridge like the 7mm STW that depends on precise velocities for its long range performance. Because the cases are reloadable handloaders can recover brass after firing and rework it for additional practice or hunting loads extending the value of every box purchased. Each box contains 20 rounds giving hunters enough ammunition for sighting in a rifle before a hunt as well as rounds in reserve for the field. The 7mm STW has long been favored by hunters who want magnum level performance for elk mule deer and other large game at distance. The HSM 7mm STW load is for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who demand dependable reloadable ammunition for their big game rifles.
