HSM/Hunting Shack GameKing Features The HSM/Hunting Shack GameKing line pairs Sierra s GameKing bullet long respected among hunters and handloaders for consistent accuracy with components precisely matched to each individual caliber the line is offered in. For 6.5 Grendel that means a 120 grain FMJBT bullet loaded to a muzzle velocity of 2512 feet per second generating 1743 foot pounds of energy as it leaves the barrel. A boat tail design with a .480 ballistic coefficient helps the bullet retain velocity and resist wind drift better than a flat base design of similar weight extending the practical range of an already capable cartridge. That combination of bullet selection and load development is why HSM describes its GameKing ammunition as shooting more like a handload than a standard factory round. Brass cases with boxer primers make this ammunition reloadable letting handloaders recover components after the first firing and build their own loads around the same proven bullet. Each box contains 20 rounds a practical quantity for sighting in a rifle and heading into the field with rounds to spare. HSM has built its reputation on matching components this carefully across its entire GameKing lineup giving hunters confidence in a caliber that can be harder to find loaded ammunition for. For 6.5 Grendel hunters who want Sierra bullet performance without handloading themselves the HSM GameKing is for sale at GrabAGun.
