German Precision Optics Rangeguide BX730 Features The German Precision Optics Rangeguide centers its performance on a 40mm objective lens matched to 8x magnification producing a full 5mm exit pupil that keeps the image bright even as available light drops. An OLED display overlays range readings directly in the field of view while automatic and manual brightness control lets the shooter adjust the display for bright daylight or dim dawn and dusk conditions. The rangefinder itself reads out to 3500 yards and down to as close as 16 feet of close focus giving hunters confidence at both long range and in tight cover. A Schmidt-Pechan roof prism design keeps the binocular compact at 5.6 inches long while still delivering the optical clarity GPO is known for. Built with a magnesium body and a rubberized finish the Rangeguide is fogproof shockproof and rated water resistant to 100 millibar for use in genuinely harsh hunting conditions. A center focus wheel and a diopter adjustment let each eye be dialed in individually and an interpupillary distance range of 58 to 78mm accommodates a wide range of users. At 25 ounces the binocular remains comfortable for extended glassing sessions and GPO backs the electronics with a 2 year warranty and the mechanical body with a 10 year warranty. Hunters and long-range shooters who need to spot game and instantly know the distance to it will find the Rangeguide a capable all-in-one optic.
