German Precision Optics Passion ED Features The German Precision Optics Passion ED delivers 10x magnification through a 32mm objective lens using high performance ED glass to sharpen resolution and reduce the color fringing that cheaper optics introduce at longer distances. A Schmidt-Pechan roof prism system keeps the binocular compact while maintaining a bright clear image and the center focus system allows quick adjustment as a hunter s point of attention shifts. With a close focus distance of 8.2 feet and a field of view of 316 feet at 1000 yards the Passion ED handles everything from nearby brush to distant ridgelines. A 3.2mm exit pupil and 0.6 inch eye relief round out an optical system tuned for both daylight glassing and low light conditions near dawn and dusk. Built around a magnesium micro-bridge chassis the Passion ED keeps weight down to just 17.6 ounces while maintaining the rigidity needed for a durable field optic. The binocular is fully waterproof and shockproof standing up to rain dust and the inevitable bumps that come with carrying gear through rough terrain. Adjustable aluminum eyecups and an interpupillary range of 56 to 73mm let users of different face widths achieve a comfortable properly aligned view.
