Charles Daly 601 Features The Charles Daly 601 uses a gas-operated semi-automatic action chambered for 20 Gauge shells up to 3 cycling loads smoothly while reducing the felt recoil that comes with repeated shots in the field. The 26 barrel is finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote a durable coating that resists the elements far better than standard bluing and stands up to the rough handling of hard hunting conditions. A fixed fiber optic front sight gathers available light for a bright fast sight picture when a bird or turkey presents only a brief window to shoot. The aluminum receiver keeps overall weight down to a manageable 7 lbs making the 601 comfortable to carry on long walks through the field. The synthetic stock and forend are finished in TrueTimber Prairie 2.0 camo breaking up the shooter s outline in grass and brush where a solid colored gun would stand out. A manual safety provides straightforward reliable operation in the field and the shotgun ships complete with three Beretta/Benelli Mobil pattern choke tubes in Improved Cylinder Modified and Full constrictions for patterning shot across a range of distances. A choke tube wrench and case are included along with a magazine plug giving hunters everything needed to set up the gun for their local regulations straight out of the box. Feeding from a 5-round capacity the Charles Daly 601 gives upland and turkey hunters a lightweight camo-finished 20 gauge ready for the next trip afield.
