Charles Daly 601 Field Compact Features The Charles Daly 601 Field Compact runs a semi-automatic action chambered in .410 Bore with a 3 chamber cycling reliably across a range of .410 loads for versatile field use. The 22 barrel keeps the gun light and quick to swing on flushing birds while the 4+1 capacity gives hunters enough rounds on tap without added bulk. A black anodized receiver and blued barrel finish combine durability with a traditional appearance and the manual safety offers straightforward operation in the field. Three Mobil chokes Improved Cylinder Modified and Full are included to tailor pattern density to the target and distance. A checkered walnut stock gives the 601 Field Compact secure handling and classic good looks finished to complement the blued metalwork throughout. The fixed front bead sight keeps the shooter s focus on the target rather than the gun aiding fast target acquisition on crossing shots. At 41.25 overall and roughly 6 lbs the compact dimensions suit smaller-statured shooters and younger hunters stepping up from smaller gauges. The Charles Daly 601 Field Compact in .410 Bore is a dependable choice for upland hunting clays and introducing new shooters to the sport.
