Barrett MRAD Features The Barrett MRAD is built around a user-changeable barrel system chambered in 7mm PRC with a 26 inch fluted barrel and a 1:8 twist rate for consistent long-range accuracy. The monolithic upper receiver is machined from 7000-series aluminum and includes a full-length M1913 Picatinny top rail with a built-in taper giving shooters a stable repeatable optics mounting surface right out of the box. The hand guard offers mounting slots at 3 6 and 9 o clock providing a rigid interface for attaching rails electro-optics and other accessories. A fully adjustable match-grade trigger module inside the lower receiver lets each shooter dial in their ideal trigger pull. The MRAD s stock folds on the right side reducing the rifle s overall width for a minimal footprint during transport and storage then locks securely into place when extended for a rigid shooting platform. Tool-less length of pull and cheek piece height adjustment let the rifle be configured to fit shooters of different shapes and sizes without needing a gunsmith. An ambidextrous paddle-style magazine release and left and right swappable thumb safety make the MRAD comfortable to run for both right and left handed shooters.
