Ameriglo Optic Compatible Sight Set Features The Ameriglo Optic Compatible Sight Set is purpose built for the Glock 43X and 48 A-Cut slide configuration giving shooters a set of sights elevated enough to co-witness properly with a slide mounted red dot optic. The front sight uses a green tritium insert surrounded by a black outline creating strong contrast and visibility in a wide range of lighting conditions including low light. A square notch rear sight in black completes the set offering a clean and fast sight picture that doesn t compete visually with the optic s reticle. This combination lets shooters train with both the red dot and the iron sights together building the kind of familiarity that pays off if the optic ever fails or runs out of battery. The front sight measures .125 inches in width and .240 inches in height dimensions chosen specifically to achieve proper co-witness height with common slide mounted optics on this cut. A rear notch width of .150 inches rounds out the fit between the front and rear sight picture for a clean balanced sight alignment. Ameriglo applies threadlock to the mounting screws before shipping and specifies a 16 inch pound torque rating for installation helping ensure the sights stay secure under the repeated recoil impulses of daily use. For Glock 43X and 48 owners running an optic on their A-Cut slide this set delivers reliable backup sighting without sacrificing a proper co-witness picture.
