The LMT Defense 13.5" Lightweight Stainless Steel 7.62x51 NATO MWS Barrel Assembly is engineered for shooters who demand maximum performance with minimum weight in their Modular Weapon System builds. This premium barrel features high-quality stainless steel construction with 5R cut rifling and a 1:11.25" right-hand twist rate, delivering exceptional accuracy and reduced fouling across a broad range of .308/7.62x51 ammunition. It comes complete with a low-profile gas block, straight gas tube, and A2 flash hider for a direct drop-in upgrade on compatible LMT MWS upper receivers. Weighing only 2.47 lbs, this lightweight stainless steel barrel significantly reduces overall rifle weight compared to standard profiles while preserving the strength, precision, and reliability LMT is known for. The 5R rifling minimizes bullet deformation for tighter groupings and longer barrel life, making it an outstanding choice for tactical, competition, or duty applications. Optimized for both suppressed and unsuppressed use, it ensures smooth, reliable cycling in demanding environments without adding unnecessary bulk. Serious AR-10 builders choose this LMT lightweight barrel assembly for its match-grade potential, excellent corrosion resistance, and proven performance under high round counts. Whether you're constructing a new MWS upper or upgrading an existing platform for better handling and portability, this assembly provides the accuracy and modularity that set LMT Defense components apart.
