The LMT Defense 18" Stainless Steel 7.62x51 NATO MWS Barrel Assembly delivers enhanced velocity and accuracy in a proven platform designed for LMT Modular Weapon System upper receivers. Featuring premium stainless steel construction with 5R cut rifling and a 1:11.25" right-hand twist rate, this barrel excels at stabilizing a wide range of .308/7.62x51 bullet weights for superior precision at extended distances. It includes a low-profile gas block, straight gas tube, and A2 flash hider, providing a complete, ready-to-install drop-in solution that maintains LMT's high standards for reliability and performance. Weighing 3.89 lbs, the 18-inch length offers an excellent balance of maneuverability and ballistic efficiency, making it ideal for tactical, competition, or duty applications where longer-range capability is desired without excessive weight. The 5R rifling profile reduces bullet deformation and fouling, promoting tighter groupings and extended barrel life compared to traditional designs. This stainless steel assembly provides outstanding corrosion resistance and match-grade potential, performing reliably in both suppressed and unsuppressed configurations. Whether you're building a custom MWS upper, upgrading for better reach and velocity, or replacing a barrel in your existing .308 platform, this LMT 18" stainless barrel stands out for its precision manufacturing and rugged dependability. It brings the accuracy and modularity serious shooters expect from LMT Defense components to any compatible MWS build. Ready to boost your MWS rifle with a longer, more accurate LMT barrel?
