What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I hit a negative wind chill day and clicked these up to the highest setting before loading the lift, and by the top my hands were actually warm instead of just tolerable. Eight hours later at the end of the day they still had charge to spare."There's cold that a good mitten can handle, and then there's cold that needs its own power source, and the Nexus Heated Mitten is built for the second kind. Swany packed eWool heating elements directly into a performance leather shell, giving you instant, adjustable warmth at the push of a button instead of hoping insulation alone gets the job done. Underneath that heat, a Tri-Plex Alpha insulation system built around PrimaLoft Cross Core keeps the warmth to weight ratio in check, so the mitten never feels bulky despite everything packed inside it. A DryFinger II insert keeps hands completely dry through wet snow, and a rechargeable battery system delivers up to eight hours of runtime, enough to outlast even the longest day chasing first chair to last call.
