"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: ""These bindings are a solid choice for kids learning to ride. They're easy to adjust, have soft flex for forgiveness, and hold up well to the wear-and-tear of daily laps."" We trust the Defiance J1 Junior Snowboard Bindings to help young riders build confidence and skills on the mountain. Made with a soft flex and durable fiber-injected materials, these bindings deliver the comfort and support kids need without overwhelming them as they learn their first turns. The forgiving highback and padded ankle strap provide a secure yet comfortable feel, while the Lock-In toe strap keeps boots locked down lap after lap. With tool-free forward lean adjustment, the stance can be fine-tuned as progression happens, and aluminum ratchets make getting in and out quick and frustration-free. Built to last through long days of learning, the J1 is the perfect choice for kids ready to take their riding to the next level."
