By the second season, blue runs start to feel easy, and the Defiance Truflex LS ski package, with its Speed 80 HV+ boot and EL 10 Shift binding, keeps pace as the skiing gets more ambitious. The boot's 80 flex adds support when a skier starts pushing harder, while the cap-construction ski stays easy to steer and the binding's SX toe and heel pass that effort on to the ski. A binding DIN range of 3 to 10 leaves room for the settings to grow with the skier. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"Through a long run of blue groomers after lunch, the molded Custom T4 liner held my heel in place and the roomy shell left space for my forefoot. The firmer flex felt like a natural next step for a progressing skier, so I point anyone with wider feet who wants room to grow toward this package."
