"Men's Mizuno® Sky Prime: The Men's Mizuno Sky Prime is a supermax cushion trainer built for runners who want structured softness across recovery days, easy runs, and long runs. MIZUNO ENERZY NXT+ foam sits at the core of the midsole, compressing readily underfoot to absorb impact and returning energy through toe-off so each stride feels smooth rather than sluggish. An Innovative Clip Midsole Design integrates structure directly into the cushioning stack, which means the shoe maintains its shape and support without sacrificing the soft, enveloping ride the Sky Prime is built around. Within Mizuno's lineup, it occupies the top tier of cushioning - a go-to option for runners who prioritize comfort on their highest-mileage days. The Clip Midsole Design does more than add structure - it creates a balanced transition from heel to toe that keeps the ride feeling controlled rather than unpredictable. Runners logging back-to-back long runs will notice that the midsole holds up across miles without bottoming out. The shoe ensures the foot has adequate room to move naturally through each stride. For daily training that demands both cushion and consistency, the Sky Prime delivers a ride that stays composed from the first mile to the last. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I took the Sky Prime out on a 14-mile Sunday long run and the MIZUNO ENERZY NXT+ foam kept the ride feeling soft and supported all the way through. It's the kind of shoe I reach for when my legs need a break but the miles still need to get done."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForThe Men's Mizuno Sky Prime is best for neutral runners seeking maximum cushioning with structure for recovery days, easy runs, and long runs on the road.
