"Women's New Balance® SuperComp Elite v6: When race day arrives, the Women's New Balance SuperComp Elite v6 is the kind of neutral road running shoe that makes you feel ready. Built for marathons and fast efforts, it pairs a cushioned ATPU Infinion midsole with a full-length carbon fiber plate to give you a ride that feels both smooth and propulsive - the kind of combination that matters most when the miles start to add up.The ATPU Infinion midsole is shaped with a rocker profile that keeps your stride moving efficiently through each transition, so you're not working against the shoe when fatigue sets in. The full-length Energy Arc carbon fiber plate is stiffer through the forefoot, which means more forceful toe-off with every stride. The single-layer translucent upper uses FANTOMFIT™ overlays to lock your foot in place without adding bulk - your foot stays secure from the start line to the finish. The outsole is just 1 mm thick, keeping weight low while still gripping road surfaces where it counts. The updated last also opens up room in the forefoot, which reduces toe box pressure during the later miles when feet tend to swell. At 5.5 ounces in a Women's Size 7, this shoe is built to move fast without making you carry extra weight to do it.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I wore the SuperComp Elite v6 for a tempo run and the carbon plate really does change how toe-off feels - there's a noticeable push that keeps your turnover sharp even when your legs are getting tired. The forefoot fit is also roomier than I expected, which made a real difference toward the end of the run when my feet started to spread."" - Sawyer, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Wilmette ILWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner training for a marathon or chasing a faster race time, the SuperComp Elite v6 is worth a serious look. It's a strong fit for runners who want a lightweight, responsive road racing shoe with real cushioning underfoot and a secure upper that won't shift during hard efforts. The roomy forefoot makes it a smart choice if you've had issues with toe box pressure in other race shoes.
