"Men's New Balance® SuperComp Elite v6: When race day arrives, the Men's New Balance SuperComp Elite v6 is the neutral road racing shoe built to keep you moving at pace from start to finish. At 6.4 ounces in a men's size 9.5, this marathon racing shoe sits on a 40mm heel and 32mm forefoot stack with an 8mm drop - a setup tuned for runners who want serious cushioning underfoot without sacrificing forward momentum. The ATPU Infinion midsole pairs with a rocker profile and midsole shaping to keep the ride feeling fast, so you step to the start line with a shoe that's already working in your favor. The Full Length Energy Arc carbon fiber plate runs the entire length of the shoe, increasing forefoot propulsion and stiffness for a more aggressive toe-off when it counts most. FANTOMFIT external lockdown overlays wrap the single-layer translucent mesh upper to hold your foot securely in place without adding bulk - useful when fatigue sets in during the later miles of a marathon. The 1mm ultra-lightweight outsole uses a tacky grip material to maintain traction on road surfaces while keeping overall weight as low as possible. An updated last shape also improves fit through the forefoot, so runners who size up half a size get a snug, dialed-in feel without extra volume up front. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I wore the SuperComp Elite v6 during a hard tempo run and really noticed how the carbon plate pushes you through toe-off - it's not subtle. The upper held my foot in place the whole time without feeling restrictive, which matters a lot when you're moving fast and don't want anything shifting around."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San DiegoWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner training for a marathon or targeting a road race PR, the SuperComp Elite v6 is worth a close look. It's a strong fit for runners who want a lightweight racing shoe with real cushioning depth, carbon fiber propulsion, and a secure upper that holds up over long distances. Runners who typically size up half a size will appreciate the updated forefoot fit.
