"Women's New Balance® FuelCell Rebel v5: The Women's New Balance FuelCell Rebel v5 is a lightweight neutral running shoe built for runners who want a responsive, energetic ride without carrying extra weight on their feet. At 5.6 ounces, it moves with you rather than against you, making it a natural fit for faster workouts and tempo runs where every ounce matters. The mid-level cushioning strikes a balance between protection and ground feel - cushioned enough to handle longer miles, springy enough to keep the ride lively from start to finish. The FANTOMFIT upper is lightweight and breathable, so airflow stays consistent through the run without sacrificing structure. A gusseted tongue locks the midfoot in place, which you'll notice most during quicker efforts when a sloppy fit becomes a distraction. The PEBA midsole with FuelCell technology returns energy with each stride, giving the shoe that propulsive quality that makes faster paces feel more natural. A 6 mm heel-to-toe drop keeps the geometry balanced, and the sculpted midsole shape adds a distinct underfoot feel that sets the ride apart from more traditional trainers. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a tempo run and immediately noticed how little shoe I was wearing - in the best way. The lockdown from the gusseted tongue kept everything dialed in at pace, and the energy return from the midsole made the faster miles feel a lot more manageable. If you're a neutral runner who wants something light and lively for speed days, this one is worth trying."" - Sabrina, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner looking for a lightweight running shoe that can handle tempo runs, faster workouts, and quick-paced miles without feeling heavy or sluggish, the FuelCell Rebel v5 is worth a close look.
