Winchester Xpert Features The Winchester Xpert is built around an 18 button-rifled barrel finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote with a 1:9 twist rate suited to the .17 HMR cartridge s lighter bullet weights. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and ships with a knurled thread protector so shooters can add a suppressor without sending the rifle out for gunsmithing. A target style crown and Bentz style chamber support consistent accuracy shot after shot and the steel receiver is drilled and tapped so a scope mounts directly using the included two piece base. The adjustable three-lever rimfire trigger lets shooters dial in the pull to their preference which matters on a magnum rimfire rifle where a crisp break helps wring out every bit of the cartridge s precision. The OD Green molded polymer stock gives the Xpert a distinct two-tone look against its Flat Dark Earth metal and its thumbhole design helps steady the grip for off-hand shooting. Sling eyelets front and rear plus a Picatinny accessory rail at the fore-end tip let hunters add swivels bipods or lights to suit the terrain. An ambidextrous magazine release and the rifle s compatibility with aftermarket 10/22-pattern magazines add flexibility beyond the included rotary magazine. At just over 4 pounds and 36.25 overall the Winchester Xpert in OD Green and Flat Dark Earth is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters and small game shooters who want a lightweight suppressor-ready .17 HMR rifle.
