Winchester XPR Extreme Tungsten QPQ Features The Winchester XPR Extreme Tungsten QPQ is chambered in 7mm Rem Mag and built around a spiral fluted barrel that eliminates excess metal keeping the rifle light enough to carry through rugged terrain without sacrificing accuracy. The 26 barrel carries a 1:9.5 twist rate suited to heavier 7mm bullets and the 9/16x24 threaded muzzle ships with a muzzle brake to cut felt recoil from the magnum cartridge. Both the barrel and the steel receiver wear a black QPQ finish that resists corrosion and wear and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The M.O.A. Trigger System brings the same three-lever zero-creep design found on the Model 70 down to the XPR line giving hunters a crisp adjustable break for precise shot placement. The synthetic stock is finished in textured Tungsten Cerakote giving a non-reflective tough surface that holds up to scratches and bumps encountered on the stalk or walk to the stand. A two-position thumb safety and bolt unlock button add intuitive deliberate control over the action while an Inflex Technology recoil pad helps manage recoil from the 7mm Rem Mag chambering. Sling swivel studs come installed for easy carry across long hunts.
