Sylvan Arms Suppressor Features The Sylvan Arms Suppressor is purpose built and optimized for .338 ARC a cartridge that demands a suppressor engineered specifically around its pressure curve and bullet diameter rather than a generic multi-caliber can. Machined from titanium the suppressor shaves significant weight compared to a steel or Inconel equivalent which matters most on a precision rifle where every ounce on the muzzle affects balance and handling. A black nitride finish protects the titanium tube from the heat and fouling that come with repeated firing helping the suppressor hold up over years of hard use in the field. At just 14.3 ounces and 8.1 inches in length it is light enough to leave mounted on a hunting rifle without throwing off the rifle s natural point of aim. Despite being purpose built for .338 ARC the Sylvan Arms Suppressor also delivers exceptional performance on smaller 30 caliber cartridges giving shooters flexibility to run it across more than one rifle in the safe. It is not rated for long action or magnum calibers so shooters should match it to the cartridges it was designed around rather than pushing it beyond its intended pressure range. The direct thread mounting system with a 5/8x24 thread pattern bolts straight onto any barrel cut to that standard skipping the extra bulk and added length of a quick-detach mounting system. Compact lightweight and finished in a rugged black nitride coating the Sylvan Arms Suppressor gives .338 ARC shooters a dedicated can that stays out of the way in the field.
