Horizon Firearms Venatic 2 Features The Horizon Firearms Venatic 2 pairs a hyper-polished Stiller Wombat action with a premium steel 16 inch barrel chambered in 7mm Backcountry. The barrel carries a 4-flute spiral fluted threaded profile finished in Sage Green with a 1:8 inch twist rate suited to the cartridge s heavier bullets. An Iota Sim Brake mounted on a 5/8x24 thread pattern cuts recoil and muzzle jump helping the shooter stay on target for a fast follow up shot in the field. The TriggerTech Rough Diamond flat shoe trigger delivers a clean repeatable break that rewards precise shot placement at distance. The Iota EKO X carbon fiber stock keeps overall weight down for the long carries that mountain and backcountry hunts demand while its Artic Moss camouflage finish helps the rifle blend into rocky high elevation terrain. A Black DLC finished receiver carries an integrated Picatinny rail for mounting an optic and the ARCA rail forend accepts bipods and tripod adapters for stable shooting from awkward positions. Together the Picatinny and ARCA combination lets a hunter switch quickly between a glassing tripod and a supported shooting position without changing gear. Feeding from a 5 round capacity the Venatic 2 is for sale at GrabAGun for hunters who need a light accurate rifle built for rugged backcountry pursuits.
